Common questions

What do I need to start?

Any Android phone or tablet with a front camera. You can use one you already have. Keep it on a stand at the entrance. You need one for each gate.

How do I stop buddy punching?

Buddy punching means one person marks attendance for another. Face check-in stops it, because the camera checks that the real person is standing there. A card, a PIN or a photo cannot be used.

Can someone use a photo to cheat?

No. The system checks that a real person is standing there. A photo on a phone or a printed photo will not work.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The app saves the attendance and sends it when the internet comes back. Nothing is lost.

How long does setup take?

About 30 seconds per person to take the face photo. You do it once, from your phone. The rest of the setup takes about 10 minutes.

Is the face data safe?

Yes. It is used only for attendance. It is stored in India, only your admins can see it, and it is never sold.

What about staff who work outside?

They can mark attendance from the Android app on their phone. It uses GPS, so it only works at the work site.

Do I pay extra for face attendance?
